Stretching along the coast of Da Nang are fishing villages such as Nam O, Thanh Khe, Nai Hien,... Among them is Nam Tho fishing village located with its back against Son Tra mountain at the beginning of the sea, at the end of this river has brought The inspiration for director Doan Huy Giao to create this exhibition space.

Following each stone step arranged to form the path leading to Dong Dinh Museum, when walking to the left, you will see the exhibition space of the Fishing Village Memory House. The house is inspired by Nam Tho fishing village located right at the foot of Son Tra mountain. The entire space here is like a miniature fishing village, from the walls to the pillars, crossbeams... made from more than 400 pieces of 2 wooden boats, 3 bamboo boats and 5 baskets. of Nam Tho fishing village has reached the end of its useful life. Inside the house are historical fishing cultural artifacts of Nam Tho fishing village, from pictures, fishing gear to fish sauce making jars, all kept in this house bearing Fishing Village Memories.

Artifacts here are displayed according to the history of Nam Tho village from its formation until now: That is the history of Nam Tho village's formation alongside images of the fishing village scene and people at the beginning of the last century. . There are also worship texts and images of spiritual and religious living spaces of Nam Tho village. Finally, there are daily activities when going to sea and when coming ashore with the profession of making fish sauce, collecting firewood on Son Tra mountain, and making a living along the shore. Taking a walk around this exhibition space, we can see the love that Mr. Doan Huy Giao has for Nam Tho fishing village, from large artifacts such as boat eyes, fish sauce jars to small items like fish sauce scoops. respectfully placed in nostalgic corners of the house.
